Overview: The 9 Delivery Steps

After ordering, the Tesla app automatically opens a 'Delivery Tasks' list with 9 steps:

• Step 1: Delivery Information
• Step 2: Trade-in
• Step 3: Financing
• Step 4: Registration
• Step 5: Scheduling
• Step 6: Insurance
• Step 7: Final Payment
• Step 8: Agreements
• Step 9: Accept and Confirm

Steps 1–4: Setup

Delivery Information: Confirm your personal details, address and contact info.

Trade-in: Tesla gives a binding offer on your current car within 24-48 hours. Always compare with private sale – you often get 15-25% more.

Financing: Currently 0% interest on selected Model Y and Model 3 variants. Not obligatory – you can use your own bank.

Registration: Tesla handles all registration. Number plates are delivered with the car.

Steps 5–7: Practical

Scheduling: Choose when and where you want to receive the car – typically 1-4 weeks out.

Insurance: Must be active on delivery day – without it you cannot drive home.

Final Payment: Transfer the remaining amount 2-3 banking days before delivery.

Steps 8–9: Sign and Confirm

Agreements: All contracts signed digitally in the Tesla app. No paper, no notary.

Accept: Final confirmation – the order is locked and delivery confirmed.

Delivery Day – What Happens?

Allow 30-60 minutes. Check the car thoroughly before signing – any transport damage is Tesla's responsibility if documented before acceptance. Staff will walk you through basic functions and pair the car to your Tesla account.
